It ranges from big alpine multipitch routes to single pitch sport routes and boulders. During the winter there are warm sunny options and during the summer there are cool shady options; and there is always a stunning mountain background no matter where you are in the Eastern Sierra!

This is a private guided opportunity with endless options. We can take you to big granite mountains to learn about multi-pitch trad climbing or stay down in the boulders to get familiar with the feel for rock climbing.
For the beginners, we’ll help you get acquainted with the gear, offer instruction on technique, teach basic rock climbing safety, climbing knots, climbing commands, basic top roping techniques, rope management, an overview of the climbing rating system and get you on lots of climbs to build your confidence. This is a great opportunity to get exposure to climbing in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment in a beautiful setting.
For the intermediate and advanced climbers, take advantage of our guides’ expert knowledge of this famous climbing destination. Whether you are climbing 5.7 or 5.11, we’ll get you on a climb that will push your limits and expand your knowledge and technique.

The Eastern Sierra is nearly due west of the SF Bay Area. In the summertime it’s accessible via the beautiful Tioga pass through Yosemite National Park. There are also direct flights to the Bishop airport from San Francisco, Las Angeles, and Denver. Directions, maps, recommended packing lists, and other details will all be provided upon registration.

Climbers should have their own harness, climbing shoes, and helmet. Our expert guides will provide the ropes, hardware, and accessories to get you out climbing!
Your packing list:
Harness, climbing shoes, helmet, flexible and comfortable clothing appropriate for the outdoors, stable footwear (ideally approach shoes) for a small amount of hiking. Lunch/Snack, water, and daypack to carry your personal items to the climbing area. Exact packing list will be provided upon registration.
