Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR, AED Training in Pacifica, California – San Mateo County and San Francisco
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Who should take this course?
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Certification is valid for 2 years.

Blended Learning Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning Course and is designed to teach students information needed for first aid, CPR, and AED training.
-Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor.
-Complete the online portion + hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor
-Online course run times is at your own pace, but typically range from 1 ¼ hours to 3 hours, and the hands-on skills session can be completed in roughly 3 hours.*
*Individual learner times will vary; run times will vary based on course path and/or optional topics selected. Breaks not included in skills session timing.
*Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card, valid for two years
Video-based course ensures consistency while the Instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency. Course is updated with the new science from the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care

Certifications are held at the Adventure Out office at 580 Crespi Drive, Pacifica, CA 94044. Exact directions, maps, recommended packing lists, and other details will all be provided upon registration.
